My recent stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Tampa/Rocky Point Island was an unexpected delight. Despite my initial reservations, the hotel's convenient location by the picturesque waterfront views of Tampa's Famous Riverwalk won me over instantly. The exploration of miles of shops, artists, and premier dining options added a touch of local charm to my gourmet getaway.One memorable morning, I headed to the hotel's breakfast area promptly at 6:30 AM, eager to experience their culinary offerings. The one-touch pancake machine caught my eye, promising signature pancakes within a minute. A unique touch that made my breakfast experience fuss-free and enjoyable.After indulging in a satisfying breakfast, I ventured out to swim among the gorgeous tropical fish and embarked on a thrilling wild dolphin ecotour in the bay, rejuvenating both my body and spirit.For dinner, I dined at Harborview Cafe, just a short walk away from the hotel, and savored a delicious meal with captivating views of the harbor. The ambiance paired with the exquisite cuisine left a lasting impression, making it a culinary highlight of my trip.Despite the weak breakfast spread in the hotel, the proximity to other dining options like Nature's Table and Beach Bar compensated for any culinary shortcomings. A unique experience I look forward to reliving on my next visit to Tampa.
